Film Screening: Home Safe Toronto
Back by popular demand is our SVPT Film Screening. It’s sure to be an eye-opening and engaging evening.
We will be screening Home Safe Toronto by Laura Sky. The film deals with how families in Toronto live with the threat and experience of homelessness. It reveals how close homelessness is to so many of us as the participants who share their experiences are hard-working, hopeful Canadians who have followed the rules and done their best to achieve modest dreams. Together, their stories open our eyes and our hearts and inspire a new determination to end homelessness in Canada.
We are thrilled to announce that Laura Sky will be presenting the film and joining us for the discussion.

SVP Toronto Information Session
This gathering is an opportunity to:
- Meet partners in our network of passionate people helping Toronto & learn what SVP gives them;
- Understand SVP’s mission to improve the organizational effectiveness of non-profit organizations and educate ourselves to be more effective donor-volunteers;
- Find out about the SVP model of pooling time and charitable donations;
- Hear SVP Toronto's strategy and growth to date;
- Learn about how you can volunteer with our community-based non-profit partners or support SVP Toronto on a committee.
