Film Screening
Back by popular demand is our SVPT Film Screening!
We will be screening EMPz 4 Life by renown Canadian documentarian Allan King. The film follows a group of young black men living in Scarborough's gun-plagued Malvern area. The film also captures the involvement of Brian Henry, an impassioned volunteer youth worker, who uses a combination of humour, affection, nagging, and tough love to keep these kids in school and out of gangs.
We are thrilled to announce that Brian Henry will be presenting the film and joining us for the discussion.
Patio Chat - Philanthropy in these Economic Times
