Applicant Criteria

The ideal applicant will be positioned to benefit from the Social Venture Partners model, which brings both funding and volunteered expertise and time. To qualify, organizations must:

• Be a registered charity or an incorporated non-profit organization (groups with flow-through organizations or trustees will also be considered)
• Have the capacity to partner with SVP Toronto, which shall include but not be limited to a willingness to work closely with SVPT Partners who will volunteer their time with the non-profit
• Work with the community they are serving as well as collaborate with other non-profit agencies, funders and community stakeholders

We will not fund deficit or debt reductions, endowment or capital campaigns, or religious organizations with sectarian purposes.
